contacts and categories not consistent

Having trouble with Contacts in Axim. Can sync the contacts from Outlook on the PC, but categories on the Axim are locked and you can't change or do anything with them. Also can only access the beginning of the list of categories on the Axim, if you click "more" to get to the rest of my categories nothing happens.
Any suggestions?
