A Possible New Hope for X30 Upgrade?

I logged onto Dell's site today to get my ROM upgrade, and noticed that under operating systems for the X30, you have a choice between 2003SE or WM5? If I am not mistaken, there is not a WM5 upgrade for X30's, so could this mean there were beta models or even possibly a test upgrade? As I look now, X3's nor X5's show a WM5 option, and there is even a download for a BlueTooth keyboard under WM5 OS.

This may be old, so I apologise

It is a mistake, but not your fault, Dell's fault. For some reason they list downloads for an operating system even though there are none. For example, I can choose downloads for my dimension 8400 desktop (only 1 years old) for Windows 95, and we know there are none. Similarly, if you choose the Axim X51, there is a download section for Windows 2003SE, even though the pda was never released with Windows 2003SE. So, unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever see Windows Mobile 5 for the x30.

Yes, this was posted before. No it doesn't mean anything. Listen to sblive, he hit the nail right on the head.

....I would just be happy to upgrade to WM2003 SE

I was so mad when I found out 2003 SE came out not even 3 months after I bought the thing, so I could go into Landscape mode.

I'm grateful for dotpocket, finally able to go into landscape mode finally, but the screen tears on the right side and I can't figure out how to get it to zoom in, so its not what I expected at all

is there a way to disable the ppc turning on every 5 seconds when its plugged into the USB cradle? thats starting to get annoying lol
