Rolled Back from WM5 to 2003SE: CPU still stuck

Okay, so the dreaded "CPU stuck at 624MHz" problem hit me while using WM5. At first a few soft resets did the trick, but eventually that did not help.

So, I rolled back to 2003SE, and yeah, the processor (when set to auto) is still stuck on 624MHz.

I have yet to install anything. I've done a few hard-resets followed by several soft-resets. All to no avail.

Anyone else have this problem or any ideas?

Um are you docked on the cradle charging? Im pretty sure you need to be on battery power for the cpu speeds to change.

You are correct. I felt kinda dumb after posting this. But then after WM5 I guess I assume everything is indicating some kind of problem.

Still having some stablility problems though. Media player keeps locking the thing up trying to access my CF card. Hopefully a format will fix that.

I noticed this too and was ready to chalk it up to WM5 since I just rolled back, but realized that it was irrelevant. Then I noticed that it was only happening on the cradle when synced.
