Question Axin X51 windows 5 - reminders don't work

Is there anyone out there that has the same problem? My reminders don't work on my Axim X51 - Windows5. I called Dell and they walked me through a soft boot and a hard boot, but neither worked. I have followed all the instructions about sounds and notifications, set the due dates and times, but none of my reminders ever ring or come up on the screeen.

Help!

I don't know, since I don't really use reminders, but you'll probably get more replies in the WM5 forum (this is the WM2003 forum)

Try this and see if this works:

Tap Start
Select “Settings”
Select “System” Tab
Run “Clock & Alarms”
Select “Alarms” Tab
Put a checkmark beside the first Alarm
Select T for Thursday (or any other day corresponding to the day you'll try this)
Tap on “Time” (9:28) for the first Alarm
Set it to couple of minutes from current time
Tap “ok”
Tap on the bell icon (above the time)
See to it that there are checkmark for all selections
Tap “ok”
Tap “ok” again

Then stare at the screen and see if you’ll have a notification with sound

I don't know if this will help, but see if this thread can shed some light on your problem:

It could be a software compatibility problem where software you have installed is overriding your alarm settings. Let us know.

Are you doing a full powerdown, if so when the x51 is in the complete shutdown state the reminders wont work.
