I need an installation disk for my v50

My DH bought me a v50 for Christmas. He bought it refurbished on the web and it did not come with the installation disk. I want to buy one. Do I contact Dell? Look on ebay? Can anyone direct me to somewhere that I can get one?????
Thanks

You do not need the disk that comes with the axim.
All you need to sync your pda up to your pc is active sync.

And if you want to update your ROM, depending on which version it came loaded with, you can visit Dell's support site and find them there.

I have used an IPAQ for years, and it came with an installation disk- as did my DH older model Dell, that had extra "things" for your pda. I would like that disk. Know where I can get one????

The only really worth extra thing that the disk comes with is a full version of Resco Photo Viewer. All the rest are trial sharware apps you can find on the net.
You can try to call dell and request one. I didn't find it on their site for purchase.

I believe the CD also includes a licensed copy of Outlook 2002.

Yeah, the original x50/x50v CD comes with an OEM copy of Outlook XP. The upgrade CD does not.
