Turn off wifi notifications?

I have been trying for a while now to turn off these very annoying wifi network notifications, but have been unable to do so. Does ANYONE know to do this? Please help!

It's most likely because your email is trying to connect to download automatically. The settings are in Accounts, Accounts, select the name of your email account, Next your way to the 4th page, Options, Uncheck the box "Connect and check for messages every:" box on the first page.
Note, this will happen whether you've opened the Inbox or not. As an alternative to unchecking the box, I've found it will not try connecting if you make the ActiveSync account active before you close the email or leave your wireless network.

No, that's not the problem at all. The problem i am describing is when a wifi network comes in range, a popup dialog appears asking me if i want to connect. It's very, very annoying. I want to turn off this notification completely.

Convert, are you referring to your Axim or a Windows pc/desktop?
Palm III -> Palm IIIe -> iPaq H3650 -> Palm m500 -> x50 -> x50v

Don't drive like you own the road, drive like you own your car.

Sorry. In that case, the solution is even easier - turn off WiFi.

A new discovery relating to these notifications. In Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications, Notifications (tab). The dropdown list includes a "Wireless network detected" with an option to uncheck the "Play sound" and "Display mesage on screen."
