Worried Inbox Over-Writing Problem

I have just recently started using my Axim X30 to access my various web-based mail accounts.

Why is it that whenever I Send/Receive, however, any new messages that come into my Inbox replace any messages that were in it ?

At the moment, therefore, I only get to look at messages until I Send/Receive again, at which time they disappear to be replaced by new ones !

Surely this can be prevented !

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Regards,
Pram

try downloading only headers and set the size limit to 999 KB. that worked for me...also, if you are using gmail, you can only use one pop client to dl the messages, so you can't use PPC and desktop to have copies on both unless it is setup as your activesync account....

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I am already only downloading headers, and have the size limit set to only 50kb !!

It's really very frustrating !

When you say I can ony use one POP client when using Gmail - Does that mean that the other mail accounts I have on the PDA with other POP addresses could be affecting it ?

Cheers for your help !
