As for listening to games, I think mlb.com has a fairly extensive subscription-based plan where you can listen to or watch any game, any time ... even live (or nearly-live). I can't say about interoperability with a mobile device, but there are ways around that, too (remote control of a desktop and such).

Yeah, the whole MLB.com thing bugs me. As far as I can tell from their documention it is Live game only plus whatever highlight they decide to make donwloadable. My problem is if two game sare on the same time I can not listen to one and download the other and listen it it later. Plus I am very busy during the day and it woul dbe nice, if i got interrupted to continue the game at a later time. I do not always have access to wireless and computer with a family and all.
This is why I asked first about the today screen scores and standings. At the very least I'd like to sync my device at work in the morning and download scores adn such. Then later when I am in meetings :) I can kill time catching up on scores.
Ideally someone at MLB.com needs to create a downloadable pitch by picth program which just shows you the game graphically.
