Main memory wiped out when change battery?
The Apr/May issue of Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine contains a disturbing statement -- and wondering if it's really true (pg. 77).
"When you remove the battery from devices running Windows Mobile 2003 SE or previous versions of the software, all data you have saved in main memory, and any third-party porgrams you have installed there will be lost!" Is this really true? I thought there was a "backup battery" that gives you 30 minutes or so of backup... I'm running an Axim X30. Thanks | |||

And that risk is low. I have been swapping main batteries frequently for months and never had a problem.
