Alarm woke me up at 3:15am instead of 4:15am

I'm quite angry at my Axim x30. I live in Sydney and I set the Alarm to go off at 4:15am to wake me up to get ready for work and the stupid thing went off at 3:15. I checked the time on the display and it was 3:15 and then check the alarm time and it said 4:15, why did it go off at 3:15, did anyone else experience this?

Well... my x3i just told me yesterday that's summertime up here ( although its still snowing a little )
and has incremented the clock 1 hour.

What happens down under ?
Wintertime ?

I've had issues with the on-board alarm. It still doesn't inspire confidence at all. Actually, it's a terrible design. Can't believe that actual programmers wrote the code for it.

A trained monkey could do it.

I've got an x51v by the way.

Yeah you might be right, I've been late for work because I thought the alarm didn't wake me, but sometimes I'm not sure if the alarm did or did not go off as I can't remember because I was asleep. Can you tell me abit more about the problems with the alarms bill_n_opus as I really like the fuction, but for me to beable to rely on it, I need it to 100% reliable.

Arrggh, it happened again today, but differently, I was very late to work. What happened was the alarm went off at the correct time according to the pda, but the pda time was off by one hour. I was suprised I had such a restful sleep, but I had a feeling something wasn't right, found that out halfway between boiling the jug for my morning coffee, I caught a look at the kitchen clock, it was one hour ahead. I rushed into my room to check the pda time, it was one hour behind, I turned on the tv to check the time on the news channel and yes, the kitchen clock is correct and my pda is wrong. I'm thinking of buying rooster and throwing out my axim, I'm getting very angry by this.

My x50v has generally kept the right time for me, although sometimes I swear it doesn't go off. If I needed a serious alarm clock, however, I'd go to a store and buy a cheap radio-alarm clock for like $7. Sadly, it would probably be more reliable than the Axim's alarm.

Check you are set for the right region - clocks in England went forward 1Hr on Sunday morning so I would guess you are set to use BST (British Summer Time).
Now you might have this set wrong on your PDA or your computer (as the axim will update the time to your PC's when sync ing.
