Contact duplication!

I need some help. How do I keep from duplicating all of my contacts when I sync? Can anyone tell me how in simple step by step terms? Thanks in advance.

Hi jetson22,

I am assuming you are using only 1PC partnership to sync:

You need to get rid of your duplicates manually once on your desktop or Axim (whichever has the latest up-to-date version) (Also empty them from the recycle bin if it moved there)
Next: Before connecting your Axim to the desktop PC, double-cllick AS on your PC and go to the options where you see the Tab: 'Rules'
Within this, against the Desktop text, select the "Always replace the item on this Computer" OR "Always replace the item on my Axim", depending on which of your device has the latest data. DO NOT select the "Leave the Item Unresolved".
Click OK/Apply as the case may be.

Connect your Axim and sync.

Hope the above helps: Best of Luck!

One final step, set the rule back to sync the data after you have a correct sync.
