Has anyone managed to get the VPN facilities in WM2003SE to work with a Linux Poptop VPN server. I have been trying for several hours now with the following results:

I can correctly connect (and remain connected) to the Linux server using the x50v. Using vxUtil I can see the VPN interface with all the correct IP addresses allocated. I can ping the Axim IP but I cannot ping the IP address allocated at the Linux end of the connection.

At the Linux end I can see the new PPP connection (using ifconfig) and all the log files look good. I can ping the Linux end of the connection but cannot ping the x50v IP address.

Has anyone tried this? Does anyone know if it is actually possible? If you have got this working then how did you do it?
