I want to use the file folder synching option with Activesynch. How do you change the default lcation of files being saved in main memory. I would like to have the files saved to CF or Sd cards .

You know what, I tried changing stuff in \windows and in the registry to no avail so far, but I really hope some one helps us both out and lets us know. One caution, once you have changed it to the CF or SD card, make sure not to Sync with that card out - that could confuse activesync a little ;)

Is it a pain to switch Syncing softwares? Can anyone point me to a forum that discusses the various options and their advantages and disadvantages?

MobiSync is only for synchihg folders and uses actlvsync for the connection, in other words you still use activSync for everythihg else and lt has to be installed for MobiSync to work..
