Question calendar question

this is driving me nuts!
I use calendar daily to schedule appts, future mtgs. etc, and here's my problem. I click on a certain day and click on "new appt." Let's say I have a mtg on 5/12 from 6-8pm. I click on 5/12, hold the pointer on a certain time(eg 4pm) but when the new appt. screen opens, the times are always generic, like "starts" is 6am and "finishes" is 6pm. I thought if I held the pointer on a certain time, that would be the start time when the "new Appt" window opens up.
Here's the 2nd issue- often when I enter the start time, and then go to enter the finish time, for some unknown reason the "finish" date changes to the following day!!. For example, when I go to enter the afformentioned 6-8p. apppt on 5/12, when I go to enter the 8 pm. finish time, the date automatically changes to 5/13!!?? So now on my calendar the desired 6-8pm appt appears as a 6pm to 8 am appt ! wtf???
Can someone please help me resolve this simple but annoying problem?

Gracias,

Dave

Welcome to Aximsite surtimefla. You might want to consider Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion. They make Pocket Outlook more usable by making it easier to schedule among other things. They're both loaded with tons of features. PI is at www.webis.net. You have to do a search for the other one. You can search this site and you'll find tons more info.

That's pretty strange, I don't have those problems at all and I'm using the default PIM. If it's working correctly those things shouldn't happen.

You might have to back up your data, hard reset and then restore. Maybe someone else will come up with an easier solution...
