Keep getting duplicates in my contacts when syncing. How can I prevent this?

I keep getting duplicates (and sometimes triplicates) in my MS Outlook 2003 Contacts. First of all, how can I set up my ActiveSync to automatically get rid of the duplicates that I already have?

Second, what can I do to prevent getting duplicate entries in my Calendar & Contacts?

I need some help ASAP. It's annoying to manually go through and delete the duplicates in my contacts.

I suffer from this issue as well. I know if you ever terminate in mid sync...you're screwed!!. Also syncing between 2 pcs (work and home) causes issues as well.

I found that if I enter a contact manually, once in the axim and once on the PC, then when I sync I get two, even though they are the same. To clear it up I have to delete one from the axim and both from the PC then sync.
