On most screenshots of Windows Mobile (primarily 2003 first edition and previous) ,I have noticed a white outline on the start button windows flag.It borders the entire outside of the flag.I don't notice this on my X30,though.

Your X30 is Windows Mobile 2003se. What you see is only apparent on the 03 First edition and before.
