I emailed dell about the OS and they replied saying:
Stevey, I will not be in a position to provide you with the necessary
information regarding the upgrade. You will need to contact the
Dell Spares for the upgrade information of the Pocket PC 2002.
However the upgrade will not be available free of cost.

Come on guys only a few more days. At least Rollie at Dell forum has PPC2003 for testing. So it's only a matter of time now before Dell starts selling it.

And remember your favorite software might not work with PPC 2003. I remember the move from 2000 to 2002, some software designed for ARM was unable to be installed.

It really isn't that big of a deal, most software makers will have stuff updated quickly, the move from 2000 to 2002 was a lot bigger because it was a processor standardization, most ARM software worked the SH3, and MIPS did not. The re-writes this time around are mainly in pointing the code to rely on different runtimes and APIs opposed to re-writing for a new processor.

Ah. Polling. Gotcha.
Well judging from the reactions here, it's safe to say that if it was free most people (i'd say 85%) would. But if you have to pay (w/c seems to be the case now) a little less than that would. Some people have the mentality that if it isn't broke, don't fix it and others have I want the latest and greatest outlook on it. ;)

And others have actually read the specs and have specific reasons why they would upgrade... ;-)
1) If you have a 255 CPU the OS is supposed to be NOTICEABLY faster.
2) WMP 9 will allow you to watch movies that you have created with the new codecs. Yes, personal movies, not DVD rips..
3)Pocket IE is supposed to be drastically better.
4) Wireless networking is much easier.
