Originally posted by knightforge Where did you get WMP9 for the PPC? I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
Its just a skin for WMP 8... The reason I posted it was to make a point, that you can't believe everything you see. Just because someone says they have PPC 2003 doesn't mean that it is. We'll all see it soon enough...
I just came accross a curious article on PPC 2003 at http://www.writingonyourpalm.net/column030609.htm. I do not entirely agree with many points the author brought up, but it is still some food for thoughts
I say we need to take the "Wait and See" approach and see if the upgrade to PPC2003 is worth it!. Maybe someone at the Aximsite can test it on the Axim......review it's pros and cons.
I for one will not jump as soon as Microsoft and Dell release and okay the upgrade for the Axim.

Still waiting for my Axim, but in the meantime I play around with the PPC2003 emulator found in the Pocket PC 2003 SDK. There is a link in the Dell community forum at http://forums.us.dell.com/supportfor...d.id=aximgensw .
I'm not sure if it is OK to download it, as I cannot find the link in the Microsoft pages.
It just came today in my MSDN subscription... I never really used the SDK for 2002, but I'm interested in seeing what has changed. Since .NET is now part of the OS, this should make my life much easier... :p
