In the past when I browsed to a website via WiFi at either Coffee Beans or Star Buck (both providing free WiFi connection), I would first reached the Cafe's website. Then I could surf to whatever URL I wanted.

No I can no longer do that. Something is wrong with my X50v setting.

When I try to surf using WiFi, the browser will say something like site cannot be found. I tried PIE and NetFront. And I can see the connection icon near the top of my PDA showing connection is available. WiFi Companion also showing good WiFi signal.

I do not have problems when I place the PDA on the cradle and surf through my desktop computer's internet connection.

I also do not have problems surfing using Bluetooth via my cell phone.

I also tried changing SETTINGS >> CONNECTIONS >> NETWORK CARDS to "Work" and "The Internet".

What else should I do?

BTW, what is the difference between "Work" and "The Internet". Which one should I choose? I only surf to Internet:

- using WiFi at hotspots such as Coffee Beans and Star Buck.
- via my cell phone using Bluetooth.
- on the cradle.

x - I don't link to any network at work place.
