Question Anyone Know About .sis Files?!?

I've got a Dell X3i and a HOLUX 236 BLUETOOTH GPSlim receiver, but the main install file in the Tom Tom Software I have is an .SIS file that is not recognised by my PC or PDA. From a what I have been able to discover this normally appears to be used on a Symbian mobile phone. Does this mean I have the wrong software as I was told it was definitely Axim compatible when purchasing ?

If anyone can help I would be very grateful - please excuse my ignorance as I am not v.technical and this (excellent) site is all new to me!

Deja Vu... I thought I anwserd to a thread like this already today :-)

Yep, thats right, you´ve got defently the wrong Software, .sis files
are Symbian installation files, they wont work on a PPC w/ WM.

Ask the TomTom support, they normally give you a ppc version for free if
you´re a registered user of TomTom or you can show the original bill of the
purchase (TomTom)
