Hi guys. I´m a big fan of Wisbar Advance 2 and I always upgrade to the last version available.

Some days ago I downloaded a Chinese dictionary and its GUI was all in disorder, in many programs I saw that the tap wasn´t responding when I pressed on their buttons ( I had to press with the stylus like a cm further to the left). I tried aligning the screen but it didn´t work, I even came to thought about calling dell and claiming the warranty.

Also my x50V WM2003SE crashed constantly (yesterday I had to hard reset twice and soft reset I would say about 30 times!!!

Then I noticed that WA2 was the program that caused the lockups, so I went to their webpage and noticed a new release v.2.6.0.8 I thought this was only going to fix the lockups, but it happened to fix everything.

The strange thing is that the program worked without problems for several days and suddenly started presenting these problems.

I would reccomend that, if you have v2.6.0.7, upgrade it as soon as possible and avoid yourself future headaches.

Versions 2.6.0.7 and 2.6.0.8 are both Beta updates of WA2. They are available on their web site. Go to the Lakeridge web site and click forums, then click the WA2 forum and the first thread should be the latest Beta. The instability was probably linked to the fact that this is a Beta, not a final release version.

Oops, I forgot to say that it was beta!!! but anyway... the v2.6.0.8 is just great, a much better improvement from v2.6.0.1... give it a try!

I agree. I had been following WAD Beta but not WA2 beta. This was my first WA2 beta. Very nice.
