Automatic Download / Stream music files

Hi a newbie here to the site (although been a voyeur for a while now!)

I have had the X30 for approx a year, and used it for email, web access, skype, gps etc, on the move. I also use it around the house by connecting it to various appliances via the headphone socket so that I can listen to music files on my PC (via wireless/resco file explorer). Although not the "best" method, this works fine.

Two problems which I have with this, are that I have files in FLAC format, and I can not find a PDA player which supports this format, and secondly, the output has to be controlled via the PDA. This is fine, until Im sat at the PC, and the PDA is connected a meter behind me - you wouldnt imagine how much of a pain it is just to change a track ;) The way to combat these two problems I thought, would be to stream from the PC to the PDA, and then I could control the output from the PC, along with curing the format issue. Im guessing I could acheive this with Winamp/Shoutcast, but my preferred media player is WMP I have tried to use windows connect, but for some reason I can not see the PDA; and Im not entirely sure if this is the correct tool to be using!

Can anyone advise (or point me in the direction..)

Secondly, is there a program which I can use to go and download a "webpage + links.." automatically. As an example, I could set a schedule up which wakes the pda up at 6am to go and download two newspapers sites (say to 3 links deep), so that I can then view these later in the day?

Again, any advise?

Thanks for your help :)

I can't answer the main part of you question, but according to this thread http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=116104, TCPMP supports a flac codec., although that may only be if the new v.1 release. good luck
