hi all, is there a way to stream video from a pc to my axim? phraps using vlc?

You can stream movies straight from your shared folder if you're connected to a network. If you don't have a network, you can create one using ad-hoc(peer to peer) if your computer has wifi. You can also do it via bluetooth pan, but you have to encode movies using a lower bitrate. And there's the orb network, if your computer is connected to the internet.

Yes, you could try VLC, se this information: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/streaming.html

But be aware, that the VLC player for PocketPC still is in beta.

Another solotion is to use the Microsoft solution "Windows Media Services". With this you can stream from your desktop PC to the WMP on the PocketPC, futher information here:

I've been using the Windows Media Encoder in professional solutions at customers, and it works realy good.
