Hi

Does anyone know of a way to update wm2003 settings automatically rather than going through them yourself. I have about a 100 pdas and i need to setup basic things like backlight brightness level to full, regional settings to English (UK), etc.

I cannot buy any software to do this as the company wont pay so everything has to be done on the free.

any help would be great

Just use the default backup software, located under start, programs, data backup.
(You will need a cf/sd card or a cradle and computer to transfer data)

Make all the changes you need to. Open data backup and create a backup. Make sure its saved to the storage card or device, depending on what your going to do with it.

Then get the backup over to the other device, by poping out the card or cradling it, or something. Open data backup on the device, and restore from it.

Sorry I don't have this software. I am not using a Dell Axim I am using a device called a intermec.

I have a dell X50v myself and use this forum for that.

I thought data backup was part of the wm os.

Threre's quite a few thing that you'd _think_ would be part of that horrible OS that aren't. Like, a task manager, maybe?!?
