Access'ing Remote Desktop

I've had a fully functioning No-ip address for many years. For logging into my home-based desktop machine while on the road.

http://www.no-ip.com/services/manage...FQt7WAodtxE5tw

Yesterday I attemted to connect using terminal Services and was un-successful. Used my laptop and was able to login as i've always been able to.

Is there somthing i'm misssing using terminal Services?

I would first double check that you're actually connected to the Internet. I'm sure you are but I have to mention it (just like the "Is your computer plugged" in question).

Secondly, I know using Tweaks2k2.Net you can change the Terminal Services port from 3389. If somehow the registry got changed, that could be your problem. I don't think the lite version of Tweaks 2k2.Net has this setting enabled, unfortunately, so you would have to get the full version. Maybe somebody knows where in the registry this setting is.

I was able to do it just fine using the physical IP of my server. Just enter the IP as normal in the Terminal Services Client then it should bring up your server desktop. Do not use the actual web address.

That probably won't help. Like he said, he's able to connect with his laptop without any problem. The only way that could be true is if the Axim isn't getting DNS. But if he's able to browse to a web page or something, he's having a whole other, unknown issue.
