Problem with Folder list in Notes

Hi. I'm using WM 2003SE on my X30. The strange thing is that when I open Notes and I tap on "Show," the list of folders that drops down does not include "My Documents". The sub-folders within My Documents are all there, and folders that exist only on the SD card are there, but not the main "My Documents." This means the only way I can get to notes that are stored there is to go to show all files, and scroll my way through the hundreds of notes there.

I don't have a screenshot, but trust me, it just isn't there.

Can anyone please tell me what's happened? I've done a search on the forum but can't find anyone with the same problem. Thanks!

Do you have a hidden zero-byte file in the root of My Documents named ignore_my_documents? If so, delete it.

I've got Total Commander which is a help as it does get me in to My Documents. I'll check out the others you mentioned as well though. Thanks.

No, that's not there. I'd looked around the forums and learned about deleting that in order to see files on a memory card, and thought this might be a similar situation, but Total Commander doesn't find any file of that name in there.

Just a little update on the problem, I had thought it was confined to Notes, but I see now that it's the same situation in Pocket Excel or Pocket Word, which probably makes more sense than if it only happened in Notes. But My Documents is there OK, I can see it in Total commander and in File Explorer. If I do a search in Total Commander for ignore_my_docs I get two files - Built in Storage/ignore_my_docs and Storage Card/ignore_my_docs.
