Hmm HELP! programs won't uninstall and emails won't delete

I have a few problems... I hard resetted my x50v not too long ago because it hard a memory problem. I had to restore my device from a really old backup file. Anyway, now I have these programs that will not uninstall. I can’t access the programs, it must be old registry files or something. I’ve tried doing it on the ppc and the add/remove programs and then remove program just shuts down. On active sync the programs display, but they are shaded grey and will not let me remove any of them. Anyone have this problem before? Oh yeah, and I tried memmaid and she didn’t help any.

Also, I have emails in my outlook folder that will not open or delete. I got rid of the account on my outlook on my desktop. I tried re-laoding that account to clear those emails, but they seem to be stuck on my device. Memmaid didn’t help here either.

Can anyone help my messed up x50v?

What did you use to take the backup that was restored, and was it taken on the same device to which it was restored?

Actually it was a new device, I had dell replace my x50v cause of a loose headphone jack and two of the front buttons were getting tired. I used my old device to take the full backup on a SD card awhile ago…that was my backup backup file hah, I usually backup on my pc. when I got my new x50v I already had a new backup file ready to go on my pc. But when I tired to restore from my pc it originally said it wouldn’t do the restore because of a different version of os or something. So I took the old backup file I had on the SD card and then restored it to my device… it seemed to work. Except for these errors… perhaps I should just suck it up and hard reset it eh?
