Favorites not sync properly

I created a Firefox bookmark html file then imported it into IE mobile favorites and sync'd them to PIE on my X50. Most of the favorites are correct but several of the folders are missing the websites; that is, the folders are empty; the sites did not carry over to PIE favorites with the folders. I checked the folders in IE on the computer and it they are complete so something is being lost in the process of synching to the PPC. Since the list is deficient it is somewhat worthless to me.
Any ideas why the Favorites sync is so sloppy?

Did you check that there is a checkbox next to Favorites in the sync options menu?

I did check that and all of the folders got transferred but not all of the contents of all of the folders. I repeated the process and exactly the same thing happened. I can't figure out why some were neglected and not others since, as I said, the folders are all fully configured in IE on my computer.
