Wifi keeps disconnecting

I have a dell axim x30h A06 and my wifi keeps disconnecting from my router and reconnecting immediately. I tried my connecting to my friends router but I can’t maintain a constant connection with that one either. This was not a problem before.

I have unchecked the wlan power saver, tried using odyssey client and power management for wlan is off. I can stay connected for about 15-30 minutes before it will disconnect and then reconnect. If I am browsing the net the wifi won’t disconnect but when I’m idle, after awhile it will.

Any ideas on how to fix it other than a hard reset? Thanks.

I wouldnt use oddysey client. Also, try changing the channel on the router or make sure phones and microwaves using 2.4ghz arent on and near.

What kind of router do you have? My X51v works fine with my Linksys at home, but does exactly what you describe with my portable d-link.

You could try disabling Odyssey Client but you will probably have the same problem (but you never know ;)). Anyway, I use Odyssey with my Linksys router (now running DD-WRT firmware) and it works fine. It also worked fine with the stock firmware. Have you tried a soft-reset on your Axim and power-cycling the router?
