The changes to Pocket Internet Explorer sound very promising...

My thoughts exactly. In my opinion, it will be worth buying an upgrade (if one is made available) just for that!

I just wish someone at Dell who is beta testing could give us a lowdown on how it works with the Axim.

Okay review. Although they didn't get to in-depth with anything. I can't wait to see someone finally post full review of PPC2003.

Rollie, the moderator in the dell forums has been answering questions about the use of it. he also has found a few apps that do not yet work well with it. I tought this was a promising sign of things to come!

review's a bit on the lite side....while it's nice to see pie getting updated to be able to support more sites that use javascript/dom/css, it will be interesting to find out just how close pie is to ie6's support of the standards.

For those interested, there is another review for PPC2k3 or Windows Mobile 2003. Very promising indeed.

Cheers!

Unfortunately it looks like it's extremely incremental change having to do with auto-correcting, and some other sort of proofreading tools, I believe.

This is quite unfortunate that they haven't put in a decent word processor. A full word processor, like Text Maker or something like that, would be ideal, altohugh, that would take up a LOT more ROM, so a bette rcompromise might be the equivalent of Docs to Go on Palm, a reader program with editing capabilites closer to the current one, without data loss.

I look forward to the greatly enhanced speed and optimization. Better WiFi and IE are good too, even just IE for browsing archived sites.

Minor facelifts in other programs look nice as well, and so on. This looks like it's easily worth the $30, moreso than 2K2 by quite a bit...
