Aximsitemobileicon Planning Applications?!

Greetings,

I have a team of 15 people that all have work assigned from me. I regularly must follow up with them. Each employeee has multiple tasks assigned to him. Some of the tasks will have subtasks.

Most of the organizing programs for the Pocket PC (WM2003SE) have a start and end date that I can enter, but in my case it is not necessary to have an end date.

Is there a software that allows tracking in a "tree" manner that shows the name of the person, and under each name shows the task(s) and subtask(s) for corresspondng to each person? I would also like an alarm feature that will regularly remind me to follow up on the different employees for their different tasks. Idealy, each task should have its own alarm, so i may set different intervals. For example, employee A has tasks 1-5. For task 1, i wold like to set a remind einterval for 1 week. For task 2, inteveral every 2 day, For task 3, every two weeks, etc.

In addition to this, when the alarm pop's up with the person who is responsible for the task(s), is there a program that can link me to their contact information for that person?

Thank you,
-Amal Patel-

It's more of a PIM rather than straight-up planning app, but you should be able to do what you want in Pocket Informant. You could make each of your employees a category (or employee name plus a project name or just 'Bob General' or similar) and then create tasks and assign them to the appropriate category. That would give you a trre view under each category, and individual tasks can have their own alarms and reminders set.

If you're after a more conventional and powerful planning app, you might want to look at Pocket Pplan from Twiddlebit software.

another program that manages projects is at twiddlebit.com. I have used it at work because the company doesn't want to pay the exorbitant prices for MS Project and this will read those files too.
