How do I order it from Dell?

I rarely trust a microsoft product until it has been out for several months. This gives them time to have customers guinea-pig it, find kinks and come out with a few zillion service packs.

It also gives developers time to figger out how/if their software is gonna work with it, since some probably didn't or couldn't before the new OS was released.

It does look promising tho.

Hoping to jump line I decided to try the 2nd day shipping option. My confirmation says shipping : "On or before Jul 24, 2003". Oh well its only $4 more.

2nd day shipping just means that when it ships....it will arrive to you the 2nd day. Whereas with regular shipping, it will take about 3-5 days to arrive to you.

Hey, the link is still working for me, as is the only posted about 4 posts above, but if that isn't working for your, just follow these instructions.

go to http://www.dell.com
click on Handhelds
Click on Home & Home Office
scroll down a bit, and click on Purchase Axim Accessories
scroll down about 1/2 way and DELL Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 Upgrade for Dell Axim X5, ENG should be listed under Accessories

Anyone out there who has the LinkSys WCF12 card and is upgrading to pocket PC 2003 please let me know if it works or not.

I just ordered online and the expected ship date is 02 July 03. HOWEVER, this might be wishful thinking on my part. I ordered the OS upgrade and one other item from Dell. After I posted I reread the confirmation email and and it said that the items may be shipped seperatly. So does the expected ship date apply to the OS upgrade my extra stylii or both??

just finished the order for the free upgrade to 2003 for axim purchased after the 23rd took about 20 minutes on the phone Fairly painless process after the Rep did some checking and got up to speed He said I was his first for this upgrade (go figure)
Now we wait to see how long it'll take Thanks for all the great info on the upgrade from everyone
