Where is all of the news on the new Dells? It is my birthday today, and I was planning on celebrating by buying myself a new X7!! Hopefully, I will be able to buy an upgrade to Mobile 2003!! Has anybody heard any news??

the only thing ive been able to find is EuroDell website says they are installed with 03 BUT ive yet to confirm that this isnt some programer having fun with the public

Are we all waiting for the launch? I didn't expect so many people to be up so late!! I did not see any new info on the Dell website. I did notice that the British Dell site has listed the X5 with Pocket PC 2003 (I thought that it was going to be named Windows Mobile 2003!). Maybe I will have to go with the 5550 for my birthday!! I was actually an ipaq lover until the Axim came along. I just want to see an Axim with a nice, sleek aluminum case. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
This is the lamest new OS launch that I have ever seen!! I went on to the Dell website, and this was the look on my face :rolling: I was looking for that ever-elusive OS upgrade. I finally noticed that the only difference was the change on the Axim X5s from Pocket PC 2002 to Pocket PC 2003 "Premium". What the heck does the "Premium" mean? Does it come with a printing application? Is there a "Standard" model? Maybe it's just because Microsoft did not really add much to it, so they don't want too much publicity about it. And what about the X3 and the X7? And what about an SDIO slot on the Axim X5s (at least). That's what I was waiting for - not a new OS with yet another subsciption-based program to another virus scan program. I have McAfee on my laptop, and I always have problems because it conflicts with Microsoft Activesync (it thinks that it is a virus). I called Dell support, and they told me that McAfee has problems because it is "too secure" and blocks programs that it should not block. They told me to get Norton AntiVirus instead - and now they are marketing the same program with their pdas? I do not get it!! At least hp came out with four new models (and they include printing software in them - which the OS should have included to begin with!!). I guess that I was not impressed. I am still waiting for those great new Axim models!! Was anybody else disappointed? Maybe Dell is waiting for people to buy the hp models so that it can them introduce new Dell models and hopefully get some of the people who purchased the hps to purchase a Dell model as well? Is that the strategy? Let me go check on that Dell stock price!! Okay, I will be happy since it's my birthday, and I will purchase that great 2003 upgrade!! I cannot find where I can order the upgrade CD on the Dell website. Did anybody find it?
