I like to read books on my Ax in bed. However, even at the lowest setting the backlight is way to bright. Is there any way to make the backlight even _less_ bright than the lowest setting?

I don't think it works for X30 but I guess it can't hurt to try as long as you know how to reverse the registry changes. You can edit your registry using Total Commander, which has a built-in registry editor.
