I emailed Fann Software and CalXpress and received the following replies:
SBP Pocket Plus: "yes, we are planning a version of Pocket Plus that supports Pocket PC 2003 - it will be released really soon".
CalXpress: "We are in the process of testing our applications on Windows Mobile 2003 OS. Based on our initial testing, CalXpress should run fine on the new OS. We should be able to finish testing in the next 2 weeks. We will post information about our applications and the new OS on our website once testing is completed".
For Socket WIFI CF card users, Socket has a mobile 2003 compatible driver on their site for download, so socket wifi card will be compatible with the new OS
Here is the download link for the updated drivers for ppc2003

I emailed Astraware about Bookworm and here is their reply:
Hi Lauren,
Well, I've now been contacted by one owner of a Pocket PC 2003 device, who has tested Bookworm and had no trouble. Also, one of our beta testers has just got their hands on an iPaq 2215, and he has also told us that Bookworm (among other games) is fine!
We are of course still tyring to get hold of our own, but the UK seems to lag some months behind the US in getting these new devices, so we have to wait until they will let us plebs buy one!
According to Olive Tree and Laridian, their products (BibleReader and PocketBible) support PPC2K3. According to Laridian:
Laridian®, Inc. today announced that its PocketBible®, and other Bible-related software is compatible with Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs, Microsoft's newest version of software for Windows mobile-based devices.
Raynne, please tell me it ain't so, i use pocket backup plus daily, have you tried emailing Sprite to ask them when they will have a ppc2003 version out? If so, please let us know what they say, if not, i'll send them an email myself.........thanks................
No, I haven't emailed them yet. I use it daily, also, it is one of my must-have programs. I am beginning to think that I will just stick with my 2002 Axim. :) :crooked:

Argentum has been updated to version 1.2 and is now compatible with 2003..............as per pocketgamer.org:
"Argentum: Update
As spotted in this PocketMatrix thread, Argentum has been updated to release version 1.2. The update adds the following features:
• Pocket PC 2003 support. It runs soo smooth on the new iPAQ 2215!
• Finally fixed the bug where it crashed after the tutorial
• Much better map shading code. Hills now have a highlight and shadows are much more accurate
• Custom maps can have a height texture. Documentation and tools related to this will come.
• More accurate ship shadows
• Various performance and visual bugs corrected
A note adds that "due to some changes some custom maps might look distorted. Contact the authors of these maps and tell them to make sure that the heightmap pallette is a smooth transition from black to white."
The update is now available to download at Handango, and an updated demo has also been released."
