I wouldn't have much faith in the update and support team from CNetX. I have been waiting for an upgrade that they promised would be out 6 months ago. They return each email with an excuse, and so far have not changed a thing on their website. It looks exactly like it did 12 months ago. If you want a fix, you will really need to hound them.
Ok, I received a response from Sprite Software. Here is their reply:
There have been some reported problems with starting scheduled backups which we are currently looking into, but this is the only known issue with PPC2003. We will be correcting this problem in a release in the near future (probably 2.1.3 – 2.1.2 is in final testing now).

thanks for the update, luckily i don't use the scheduled backups, i just backup manually before i install a new program or every few days, whichever comes first....................
hahahhaa, that's got to be one of the funnier responses from a developer i've ever read, they haven't tested it yet but they're assuring that it will work when ppc2003 launches? maybe you should remind them that 2003 is out now, has been out......................................
Originally posted by kchristian I received this back regarding Pocket Quicken on June 24.
“Thank you for your interest in LandWare. We have not tested Pocket Quicken
on the PPC 2003 platform yet. However upon launch, we will be compatible.”

The way that I viewed this email from LandWare is that when they launch THEIR updated product of Pocket Quicken, it will be compatible with 2003.
What I've learned elsewhere on this site is that when a product like Microsoft Mobile 2003 is introduced on the market, it is being released to the companies that sell products with Microsoft software so that these companies can in turn tweak the software to work on their devices. I'm sure this is the same case with LandWare. Obviously, LandWare cannot have the product ready for upgrade the same exact day that 2003 is released.
This is why I viewed the email from LandWare differently.
Laridian®, Inc. today announced that its PocketBible®, and other Bible-related software is compatible with Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs, Microsoft's newest version of software for Windows mobile-based devices.
Mine works, but the font is acting goofy... it's not using cleartype although I have this enabled. Anyone else see this in PocketBible?
D-Link DCF-660W... Tested on my wives Axim (she got her new Ax yesterday with 2003) works with the latest driver for PPC2002. Also PocketWarrior latest unstable version works as well (29052003).
The only thing I STILL see wrong with PPC2003 is that the X still does not close the dang program out of mem.
NYDITOT (screen rotation software [b]DOES NOT[b/] work on PPC2003.
On a side note, the Micro Innovations wireless keyboard (rebadged PocketTop) works very nicely in landscape mode (though the screen is still in portrait)
I'm extremely impressed with how nice a combination the Axim and this keyboard make.
More like 2000! I have the new Axim X5 400mhz XScale Advanced with 2003 Premium. Well what an awful shock! After using an Ipaq 3630 very trusty no problems, for 2 years my hubby wanted one so I decided to "upgrade" what a laugh! Well as far as speed..... say no more I think my old palm M130 was faster. Anyway, after 3 calls to dell and a lot of coffee and headaches. I finally decided to do a hard reset (after many lock ups and soft resets) things seem a bit better.I cant believe the difference in speed between the Ipaq and this though Dell said that there would be a patch! Well I hope so or I'll get my money back!
