Thumb Keyboard is BUGGY
I have the latest ROM A05. I have the Snap on Thumb Keyboard a great add on for playing CanTris. Anyways, I have latest driver from dell for the keyboard. The problem is that when my axim goes to sleep I cant wake it up with the power button. I have to do a soft reset. I have tried everything to wake it up made sure that I have checks in the boxes so that when I tap my Axim it wakes up but nothing. I even hard reset it and only installed the driver for the keyboard and still got the same problem. Afterwards I went and removed the program and when I did my axim wakes properly.

I am the owner of a new Axim, with PPC 2003 on it. I have upgraded from a e740 which I could no longer trust (resetting defaults every day).
I have loaded my apps, but can not get Resco Explorer 2003 to browse the network (options greyed out) and I can not get Journal bar to populate the data?!?!
I have NO problems setting both of these apps up in PPC 2002, am I just missing something?
TIA,
Todd

ftxPBrowser (excellent freeware for multiple windows and full screen in PIE) does not work completely in WM2003 : while the full-screen function is still available, the multiple windows don't work.

I have an Axim with the slow buggy MM2k3 OS on it, and my Socket WLAN card now works fine. Socket released updated drivers a couple of weeks ago.

Also it might be an idea to have a similar board for hardware, id personally like to know if my socket wlan card will still work if i upgrade.

Vindigo
Thanks for the great list...
Perhaps you can answer one more question, is there a good program out their similar to Vindigo, but for European cities...of course, it would need to work on Dell Axim as well.
Thanks!

PocketWin V1.7
This installs and works okay until you shut down the program. On reopening the program, all the settings are lost. Strangely, if you don't shut the program down but turn off the machine and then switch on again, it returns to the PocketWin desktop and all the setting remain.
I am in email correspondance with the developer about when (and if) there is to be an upgrade. He is aware of the problems and at least you can download a demo first rather than buying and finding it doesn't work.

I have this software and attempting to get it to work on PPC2K2. Do you know if the problem is with the release or is it specific to WM2K3. I'm not sure if I have operator error or it is the software. :rolling:
Can you share the developer's email address ???

Hi Blatty,
I have not tried it on PPC2002 as my machine came with WM2003. From reading some reviews before I bought it, it appears to work okay with 2002.
I reached who I think is the developer from PocketGear.com's site and using the PocketWin V1.7 order page. The guy who replied is Yuriy at pocketwin_cust@yahoo.com
He has not tried it with 2003 as that is not the platform he has on his machine but is in contact with Macromedia and the firm who make FlashAssist about the compatibility problems. He said he thinks it is a problem with either FlashAssist or Flash Player 6. Looking at their web sites, Flash Assist is said to be compatible with 2003 but Flash Player says "download Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC 2003" and then takes you to the page with a 2002 download and documentation. Very helpful! If I can spot this, why can't they?

hi there everybody.
you reported earlier in this thread that mphone 2.6 works ok with WM2003, however i just upgraded to WM2003 and i can't seem to get it to work with bluetooth (bluetooth option is not even there anymore in the setup screen) eventhough the CF card is recognized and it detects and gets detected by my T68i and i even connected to the internet using my axim and t68i via bluetooth. can someone please clarify that matter. thanx in advance.

Ironically, in 2k3 microsoft fixed aol 2.0's problem about surfing the web
maybe this had to do with their recent settlement :p
