As per Dell Forum Moderator, the following programs do NOT work: Argentum (ouch!!), CNetX Flash Format and Vito Remote.

I have not tried these myself, but I assume that he knows his stuff. Please see the following:

admin,

can we pin this thread? i think as we begin to get our hands on the upgrade, this info will become invaluable and save us all a lot of time in terms of not troubleshooting programs that are verified as not working with the new OS

thanks

Great idea. I'm sure the software list is going to get quite lengthy. Could save some of us a lot of grief ahead of time .

I dont suppose you know whether Nice start and textmaker will be ok?

Also it might be an idea to have a similar board for hardware, id personally like to know if my socket wlan card will still work if i upgrade.

You're welcome. At least the list is a little bigger. I'm assuming there are a lot more apps that are compatable.

TextMaker works. In fact, we released a service pack for it (which might not have been needed after all, with Microsoft adding missing DLLs at the last minute).

CNetX Flash Format...
For those interested,
I Wrote to CNETX regarding CNetX Flash Format, should have an update soon....

Hello,

Thanks for writing.

We will definitely have an update soon which will run without problems
on the latest OS.

We already have fixed some minor issues in a couple of our other
programs (updates will be available soon) and we are now focusing on
Flash Format. We will definitely have an update our during the summer.

Best regards,
The CNetX Support Team

I emailed Ionside today about Argentum. Has anyone else checked with any developers of non-working programs to see if updates will be released?

If so, I think that would also be good to add to this thread.
