I was just wondering if anyone here who purchased their axim more than 30 days ago, like me, have been able to buy the upgrade disk from Dell. Do you have to call?

as soon as my parnter gets here (his name is on the Dell account) we will order some......

bought them all back in early April, so we have to pay, but I would expect nothing less

I ordered this afternoon. You do have to call Dell. My total is $34.50 (includes shipping). My order status on the Dell website says to ship on or before 7/22. Oy!

Lots of us have bought it. The lucky ones just bought their Ax and are going to get it for free!

I have A00, but was going to upgrade to A03. Do I bypass this and go directly to MM2003 or do I need A03 first? Does it matter?

There isn't any information yet on what exactly will be involved in the upgrade path. I would say at this point, if you don't have any problems with your current Ax, stick with the original ROM. If you want to experiment, or need to fix an issue now, then it shouldn't be an issue to upgrade it either way.
