Hi,
Well i orderd my Axim Advance today, and found out that it comes with the new Pocket PC 2003. YEAH!
Anyways, what about all the apps,software, games ect. thats just for the pocket pc 2002 OS? Will they not work on the 2003? Im just curious...

Most 2002 will work on 2003, but anything
designed specifically for 2003 will not work on 2002..

there's no way to know all apps that
will not work on 2003.. just gota try
em and find out... if you have a fav app,
find its website, im sure it will say on there.

My guess is, the ammount of apps that wont
work is very small...

Some of the other Pocket PC sites have begun posting lists of applications that are working/not working. I would imagine most developers are going to be updating their software in the near future. The good news is, most of the popular/required applications seem to be working fine. :)

Actually, I heard that many games, including Argentum, don't work on Windows Mobile 2003. I am not sure if this is true, but after over 20 minutes on the phone trying to get a free upgrade and not getting anywhere, I don't mind sticking with ppc2002.
