Hi,

I accidently deleted a word file on my Dell x50.
Is there any chance to restore it? Maybe some recovery software I could use???

I seem to have a backup file of the lost one in "My Documents" - but with a file ending .prg - Word and the Apps can`t open it??!!???

Is it possible I back uped a doc. file as .prg?

Don`t ask me what and how I`ve done it.

If anyone has an idea -- please help and let me know!!

Have you an old back up of the device from before you deleted the file? If so, you can simply restore the device and recover the file.

If the document is a copy of one on the pc, simply sync the pc copy with the Axim

If not, you may never recover the document: that's why it is always advisable to keep a current backup file and backup everytime you connect.

there's no "trash can" for window mobile systems...
once you delete, it's gone. :)
