If I call dell and get my axim replaced (d-pad issue and power button issue) today or tommorow, will the replacement come with the new OS? Just another question, (might be a dumb question) are the replacements new units? Thanks!

let us know what they say stevey500. i'm in the same boat and would like to get a replacement with wm2003 if possible.

I tried going that route, and I got PPC2002 installed with A02 ROM. I am gonna send it back and try a different route to get PPC2003.

I just had my Axim replace about a day before I heard the news of the new Op coming out. I didnt get a refurb as mentioned earlier. and my ax came with the new 255 chip and A02 rom. The unit didnt come with the new Op, but the dpad feels much better
