Well.. My opinion is.. Downgrading is possible..
But you will need uncompressed ROM files which you want to go back to..
Just copy uncompressed ROM files into your AXIM, and Run it.. You will go back to an old version..
This method was found by a spanish guy, alejandroborja..
We should thanks to him..
If you understand spanish.. read this link..
You will get the answer.. =)

As I told you before, his first language is not english..
If you cannot understand it, you should learn spanish at this time.. =)

This is good info, better than throwing my Ax against the wall if Dell/Ms can't get it right.

I saved an image of pc2002 with the A05 patch utility before I upgraded to pc2003 and I was having sound problems with A05 so I just restored the image of pc2002 and it worked fine, so it's possible to downgrade.

If the moderators will allow it, I can give step by step instructions...
If it's on Dell's site, I don't see why I couldn't LOL

BTW: there is an easier way.

cageyjames - the patron saint of copyright law. Wow, you are a james of all trades, aren't you? Should we now have an argument about what constitutes plagiarism and you can call me a thief again? :crooked:

At first I thought it was a joke... but I couldn't be sure.
To set the record straight, several people worked on it. I was a small player even though I knew how to do it. But, there was a flaw in the recipe that would not allow all to use it. I know what the real fix is and why. It is so simple it boggles the mind!

Fine, put a sticky on the bottom of you Axim and give credit to Dell. That will make me feel much better...
