How do I reinstall outlook? My X-5 was updated to windows mobile 2003 with the Dell upgrade disks. Do I use those?

are you talking about your pda or pc..
If its your pda you don't need to do anything. If its your axim what version of outlook is currently installed?

It appears that outlook was deleted or corrupted on my Axim since when I attempt to sync the windows mobile device neter says that it is not installed

What says outlook is not installed... your pda or your PC?

If its your PDA a hard reset is a complete 'reinstall' but will also delete any data you have on it. Which version of outlook do you have on your PC?

I have Outlook 2007 installed. I have backed up the X5 will try a hard reset

I think that you will have better luck if you try to restore from a previous backup. (This will only work if you are using Sprite Backup or SPB Backup, etc... and have a copmplete backup)
