Question regarding DST Patch

Here are the instuctions from the site:

If you connect your device directly to a PC with a USB cable or cradle, follow the instructions for Windows Mobile users who connect to a PC to synchronize.

If do not synchronize your device or phone with your PC or you only synchronize your phone or device wirelessly with a Microsoft Exchange Server or, other e-mail and calendar systems, follow the instructions for Windows Mobile users who do not connect to their PC.

My question is, I sync wirelessly, but not with a microsoft exchange server. I just sync wirelessly beause I have not upgraded activesync. So which instructions do I follow? The ones who connect to PC to syncronize or the ones who do not connect to thier pc?

Thanks!!

You can use the instructions for the Synchronizing PC one.

It doesn't really matter in this case, either way works.

Thanks. I installed it, but I got an error message the first time. I tried it again and it seemed to work, but never gave any confirmation that it did. How will I know if it worked or not? I did not upgrade activesync to 4.5 like they said. I would prefer not too since I like to sync wirelessly. Could this affect the patch?

Thanks!

Change the time on the PDA to a couple of minutes before the new DST takes effect. After a few minutes (sorry, don't remember, but think it was less than 10 min) the time should have jumped forward an hour and on the screen should be a notification about adjusting for DST.

If the above doesn't happen, then it didn't work.

If you don't use Outlook then you don't need to run tzmove.exe.
