ALright guys, so i have a question and i am sure i will get a good answer here
I have HP h2210, with Windows Mobile 2003 on it. Question: Does it allow you to make more than one Virtual COM port for Bluetooth devices? For example, like in PC, you can make COM1, COM2 and so on? Can i connect for example, two bluetooth devices at the same time at COM1 and COM2 virtual ports in Windows Mobile 2003? If not, is there a software that does it for you? or something...? If not, is there a solution to it? anything...? I want two ports, open at the same time...if possible....... Please help. Thanks a lot +++W.P+++++

They are not virtual com ports, as far as the OS is concerned they are real. Same for the hardware: there is a radio at the end of the wire. So no, unless you install another BT radio (in the sd/cf slot for example) you can't connect to more than one device.
I do believe that I've seen a software implementation that codes around this, much like modern OS'es multitask. Can't for the life of me remember where, but not on an Ax. Dotan Cohen http://essentialinux.com/emulators.php http://lyricslist.com/lyrics/lyrics/...bbey_road.html

If you are using it for GPS purposes then GPSGate can take in data from one port and split it into two ports so you can run two pieces of software at the same time...
http://franson.com/gpsgate/ Ah ha! Knew it! Found a freeware alternative. Will take any BT COM port and split it out to whatever COM ports you wish. http://www.freewareppc.com/communica...splitter.shtml If you go to their homepage there are versions of Portsplitter for both WM2003 and WM5.

pencil and paper: n.An archaic information storage and transmission device that works by depositing smears of graphite on bleached wood pulp. More recent developments in paper-based technology include improved ‘write-once’ update devices which use tiny rolling heads similar to mouse balls to deposit colored pigment.

Port splitter works but your first recommendation (worth the cost) is better in a sense that you can share a single virtual port to several applications at once. Unlike GPSGate, with port splitter, you have to create one virtual port for each application. And if I remember correcty, you have to set it up everytime you use it, that's why I stopped using it. I don't know if it is already fixed or if there's a new revision. But can't complain, it's free
