Cool Is it possible to format and reinstall WM2003?

I am an avid formatter and reinstaller of WinXP on my desktop. A lot of times, it's easier to do that rather than chase spyware and a fresh, crisp OS is such a poleasure to work with. So fast. So, is this possible with Windows Mobile 2003? I can't think of any real NEED to do it. Just curious.
Thanks!

a hard reset is the equivelent of a re-install.

That's the way it's always been. Just hard-reset and the entire memory footprint is wiped out and the base O/S re-installed from ROM. Very neat, very quick, no disks needed!

However ... don't expect the same kind of performance change you get when re-installing a PC. It's all memory as it is. PPC's don't slow down appreciably with use - at least mine hasn't and I've been using it for over 2 years since I last reloaded it.

Just an FYI, Built-in Storage is not wiped clean when you do a hard-reset.
