What are the details to qualify for a free upgrade?

Also is there anyhwere else that you can buy 2003?

Canada upgrade to PPC2003

Just phoned Dell CA - ordered without any problems, delivery in 3-4 days. $45CDN plus tax (51.52).

I just checked their order system today (I was out of the office yesterday) and mine order now shows up.

I should have the upgrade by Friday.

For the last week, my order has stayed at " in production ". I doubt it takes that long to get a cd ready to ship. actually, I believe my desktop was ready quicker.....anyone recieve theirs yet ?

Mine also appears to have been "in production" since 7 July. Dell must be using a .25X Cd burner to make the cds'

Mine was stuck " in production " for several weeks, however I looked the other day, and it appears the order was cancelled w/o my approval or notification. I called a Dell support rep. who said I would have to re-order.. now, why would Dell Canada do that !! I thought the game was to keep customers. Oh well, I won't re-order until I know its shipping in Canada.

I assume they cancelled the orders because they need to rebuild and ship the cds with the firmware patch.
