Nothing in there about having to spend half your day on the phone OR the multiple transfers/disconnects you may have to suffer! oy! Please keep us posted.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. We don't have answers to a couple of question so let's just cancel the order. Too bad they couldn't provide a little customer service and at least shoot you an email to let you know they needed more info. That is ridiculous!

I'm in the same boat here... Called Dell 6/20/03 (ordered my two Axim X5's on 6/15). Spent nearly 1 1/2 hours getting transferred and dropped before I got ahold of someone who told me that since I was in my first 30 days that I would get the upgrades for free, but I'd have to call back after 7/1.

Called back on 7/1... another hour and 5(!) phone calls later, I had an order number for two upgrades. Waited until 7/6, but the order number never showed up on their order status site.

Called back on 7/6... another 1/2 hour gone and talked to 6 different people. The last person I spoke with said the guy on 7/1 "screwed up" (her words not mine!) and that the order was never completed. She kindly offered to "fix" it.

Checked back online today 7/7 and now I have an order for 1 (not 2!) upgrades, but am being charged for it! So, now I've emailed and gotten a nice response that the charges will be reversed (I'll believe it when I see it!)...

I'm still trying to get the order quantity fixed, and the online site shows 8/8/03 for my ship date (yea right)....

Gotta love Dell's Customer NOService!

In the UK here and I've just had an email to say mine isn't in stock and they expect some at the end of the month.

Dell really should've provided it for download.
