The A03 has to be the full ROM (27MB). I dont think its posible to flash Half a ROM...

Why not just buy a new axim with 2003 before updating your 2002 and load everything you need to run and see it if works. Return it within the 30 day return period and you are okay.

I think a more important question is will Dell ever provide a Downgrade ROM and i think the answer is no - or not for free anyway.

If they provided a free ROM all the WM 2003 people could then go back to 2002 and they would have to continue support for the old OS rather than focus on WM2003.

What i think they should do is allow people to purchase a PPC 2002 install CD/ROM so that if you are unhappy with 2003 which YOU have chosen to put on your machine then you can revert back OR if you were supplied with 2003 on your Axim then you can choose to downgrade and lose WM 2003 permanantly until you buy a licenced CD from them.

Id personally be willing to buy a ppc 2002 CD for possible future use in case i dont like 2003.

hmmm... I heard somewhere that there was an option to backup your 2002os to use for later if u needed to. I could be wrong, think it was in pdaessentials or something.

so if ppc2003 fuxors your axim up, then you can try to haxor it,but then you might fuxor it up even more and your warranty is probally gone which suxors big time!
